VUSSP

The following are awards granted to VUSSP pilots and members based on merits to include flight hours, military status (i.e. active duty, veteran, etc.), special ratings, and meritorious duties.

	VUSSP Distinguished Service Award	Recognizing individuals who have made a significant contribution to VUSSP's mission through their service, ability, or courage.
	VUSSP Astronaut (Basic Rating)	Awarded to VUSSP Astronauts who have successfully completed their astronaut certification program and have earned the title of VUSSP Astronaut
	VUSSP Astronaut (Senior Rating)	Awarded to VUSSP Astronauts who have logged more than 500 hours in space.
	VUSSP Astronaut (Master Rating)	Awarded to VUSSP Astronauts who have logged at least 1000 hours in space.
	Flight Service Rating 1 (FS1) Award	Awarded to pilots who have logged more than 50 flight hours.
	Flight Service Rating 2 (FS2) Award	Awarded to pilots who have logged more than 100 flight hours.
	Flight Service Rating 3 (FS3) Award	Awarded to pilots who have logged more than 500 flight hours.
	Flight Service Rating 4 (FS4) Award	Awarded to pilots who have logged more than 1000 flight hours.
	Flight Service Rating 5 (FS5) Award	Awarded to pilots who have logged more than 5000 flight hours.
	Military Service Award	Awarded to members who are verified Active Duty or Veteran members and have served honorably in any branch of service within their respective country.
	Certified Civilian Pilot	Awarded to members who are certified and licensed pilots either as a civilian or a military aviator.
	Space Flight Support I	Awarded to pilots who have participated in their first space flight support operation.
	Space Flight Support II	Awarded to pilots who have participated in 5 space flight support operations.
	Space Flight Support III	Awarded to pilots who have participated in 10 space flight support operations.
	Space Flight Support IV	Awarded to pilots who have participated in 25 space flight support operations
